Trad FanArt - Sonic The Hedgehog - Green Hill Zone

I just picked up some Letraset Promarkers and started playing with them. I decided I would draw an image of the character that started it all for me using them.

I have to admit, they are really fun to use. I thought they would feel like felt tip pens for adults, but they feel so different to that. They do feel like a different tool.

I don't know if I managed to pull of a good sense of shading, however. The thing about the promarkers are that they seem to have a spread on the paper (although that could depend on the paper I am using as well) allowing for a gentle shading. There are some smudge moments where the colour would run over more than I would like.

However, for my first attempt at using Promarkers, I am satisfied with my efforts. I plan to use them a lot more in the future.
